As a LandSurveyorin our busyGeomatics teamyou will help togrow and developour LandSurveyingcapabilitiesto provideTopographical,Measured Buildingand UndergroundUtilitySurveys for our clients across thecountry. 

You will work closely with Project Managers andGeomaticsSpecialists toscope,collect,process andvisualisesurvey data in a range offormats. You will ensure that thesurveys are designed to meet client and industry requirementsusing the full range of survey equipment. 

You willcombine your technical knowledge and experience withfull training in our clients specific areas of expertise andwe will provideongoing mentoring whilst you develop your LandSurveying career including membership of a professional body.   

You will bring new ideas to the team, be up to speed with the latest survey equipmentandtechniquesand be given the opportunityto continually innovate to provide cutting edge solutions to our clients. 

You will be given responsibility on projects and clients as part of an enthusiastic and dynamic company which prides itself on developing the best in the Utilities and Infrastructure Sectors.   


You will have graduated with aSurveying, Engineering orGeography related degree and haveat least3 years of practical land surveyingexperiencefor utility, infrastructure and constructionprojects.You will have knowledge andunderstanding of PAS128 and RICS / CICES survey standards and the importance of applying to everysurvey we undertake. 

You will have goodworkingknowledge ofTrimble Survey Equipment – TotalStations, GPS/GNSS, Laser ScanningandControllers.You willknow the applications, strengths and limitations of eachtechnique andbe able todiscuss and make recommendations to ourclients and project teams. 

You willbe fully conversant in preparing and processing survey data with Trimble Business Centre and producing 2D and 3D plans and models in AutoCAD. 

You will be comfortable meeting people on site  colleagues, clients, landowners and other stakeholders  and capable of discussing the survey and scheme you are conducting. You will be prepared to work away from home (accommodation and meals will be provided). 

You will have great IT skills, beinterested in the latest technologyand be ready to take on new challenges. You will be organised, results driven, with great attention to detail and love finding solutions to problems. You will also have great verbal and written communication skills 

You may have an interest in rural affairs and experience in utilities, constructionorinfrastructurebut this isn’t essential.
