Dalcour Maclaren has been awarded a significant contract by SONI, Northern Ireland’s grid operator, to lead its new landowner engagement framework. This partnership underscores SONI’s commitment to upgrading the electricity grid infrastructure, supporting Northern Ireland’s 2030 target of achieving 80% renewable electricity.
As the Transmission System Operator for Northern Ireland, SONI plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning and execution of grid upgrades essential for the transition to a greener economy. The new framework with Dalcour Maclaren will enhance these efforts, ensuring effective collaboration with landowners and local farmers throughout the project lifecycle.
Dalcour Maclaren, the UK’s leading professional services consultancy for the utilities and infrastructure sector, specialises in land surveying, geomatics, environmental planning, and property asset management.
