Well done to all the amazing runners who took part in the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 8th October. With months of preparation and training runs, a dedicated group have been focussing on completing 13.1 miles.
Bridget Fourie, one of Dalcour Maclaren’s keen runners and a CAD Draughtsman by day says of the experience, “It was a magnificent morning with blue skies and sunshine. We were running past some of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the country so if you have any interest in taking this on next year, I recommend it. We are so proud to do this for Alzheimer’s Society and raise much needed awareness for this cause.”
There are more activities going on this October including Phil Rees’ plan to run the Half Marathon in Lucerne, Switzerland, and the 10k Steeple Chase in Norfolk where 4 members of the Thetford office will be testing their metal for charity, whilst 4 members of the Mansfield office are aiming to walk a million steps in a month!
Keep on running, or whatever challenge you undertake. You are doing an amazing job!
