Dalcour Maclaren’s Cirencester office wowed us with their kind hearts and clever minds as they played host to a fantastic charity quiz night and raised a staggering £1,624 for Alzheimer’s Society.
Over 100 people squeezed into Poulton Village Hall, where teams battled it out for the top prize of champagne and chocolates and a valiant effort to raise funds and awareness for this worthwhile cause.
It was great to see local businesses collaborating, and Dalcour Maclaren would like to say a huge thank you to quiz master Chris Stephens, to local businesses Majestic Wine, Friar Tuck and Jesse Smiths Butchers, and to everyone that contributed so generously.
Dalcour Maclaren Director, Matthew Ducker said: “There was a great atmosphere with the fish and chips supper, bar, and meat raffle all proving to be very popular. It was such a success that the quiz may become an annual fundraising event, so watch this space!”
The next charity challenge for the company is “The DM Regatta” on 1st December 2017: The aim is for surveyors across DM’s seven offices to row the length of the River Thames in one day.
