Our commitment to play our part and deliver a sustainable future is unmatched.
Since 2003, it has been the drive behind our uniquely ambitious approach to delivering land and environmental consultancy services to the utilities and infrastructure sectors.
EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 100,000+ rated companies. Their sustainability scorecard illustrates performance across 21 indicators in four themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Dalcour Maclaren was awarded a silver medal in recognition of our EcoVadis ratings. We are proud of our achievement which reflects our true commitment to Net Zero.
Our core values sit at the heart of our company.
They underpin everything we do.
They guide how we conduct business.
They define the role we play in the community.
Our ESG strategy and reporting are aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which we support wholeheartedly. These goals are focused on ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all by 2030, and we believe we have a key role in helping to achieve a better future.
In addition, we adhere to the sector-specific recommendations of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
The nature of the projects we are involved in puts us in a prime position to know that climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time.
To ensure that we are doing everything we can to minimise its impact on our clients and our business, we collaborate across the entire company to focus on key areas of sustainability such as energy, waste, water, sustainable travel, air quality and sustainable procurement.
We hold the ISO 14001:2015 accreditation for Professional Surveying Services to the Utilities Industries and Rural Property Management.
Every other year, Dalcour Maclaren chooses a charity to support as part of its commitment to ESG, CSR and community engagement. In 2025 and 2026, our charity is Brain Tumour Research.
At the heart of our culture and our values is our belief in a ONETEAM ethos. We believe getting involved as a team in charity events strengthens us as a company.
In 2025, DM people will be taking part in a breadth of fundraising activities, from cycling events and marathons to bake sales and quiz nights, and even an auction of promises. This collective effort will not only raises substantial funds for the chosen charity but also strengthen team spirit and promote a culture of giving back.
The partnership with Brain Tumour Research was nominated by a colleague and voted for by the wider company. Many of us have family and friends who have affected by this disease. Indiscriminate, it can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, brain tumours continue to kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
