We are really pleased to have been awarded a Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, for our involvement in the Severn Trent Water Stroud Resilience Scheme.

The awards are designed to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.

In our submission, we were able to detail environmental benefits of the project, careful management of environmentally sensitive areas, positive economic and social impacts, and a demonstration of new procedures as a result of the innovative approach taken by Dalcour Maclaren’s Environment and Planning team.

This is a huge achievement for DM; our Environment and Planning team is one of the newest departments in the business but is already so integral to many of our schemes and client teams. The success of the team continues to grow and wins like this help us to demonstrate to clients how much value we can add to their projects.

The awards presentation would have taken place at the House of Commons, although in 2020 fashion we will be accepting the award virtually. This does however mean we are already looking ahead to our 2021 submission to secure that photo opportunity.
