Specialist Land Surveying Services

Conducting GPS/GNSS land, topographical, measured building, drone/UAV and underground utility surveys

Our surveyors use the latest in drone, laser and GNSS technologies to quickly and precisely do the groundwork of mapping.

Comprehensive land surveying plays a crucial role in optimising designs, mitigating risks and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of utility and infrastructure projects.

We use GPS/GNSS, Robotic Total Station, Laser Scanning, Drone/UAV, Electromagnetic Location and Ground Penetrating Radar technologies to quickly and precisely plot and capture man-made and natural features of the land and subsurface environments.

From expansive, densely forested terrain to hidden underground assets, our cutting-edge technologies allow us to survey difficult-to-reach sites and convert the data into a suite of 2D, 3D files or plans for analysis.

Every utility and infrastructure project begins with precision on the ground. At Dalcour Maclaren, we don’t just measure land, we unlock its potential with accuracy and innovation by leveraging the latest in Land Surveying technology.

Our Services

Land & topographical surveying

Comprehensive topographical surveys

Capturing accurate geospatial data of natural and man-made features using specialist GPS/GNSS, Robotic Total Station and Laser Scanning equipment.

Boundary surveys

Determining the exact geographical location of land parcels using advanced surveying equipment, deeds and HMLR plans for dispute resolution.

Advanced surveying technologies

Drone/UAV surveys

Using Drone/UAV technology with LiDAR sensors and cameras for high-resolution imagery and geospatial data collection.

Mobile mapping surveys

Utilising mobile mapping technology to capture and transform real-world environments into precise deliverables while mitigating health and safety risks.

Specialised infrastructure surveying

Measured building surveys

Detailed and accurate building representation using Laser Scanning for Elevation Plans, Floor Plans and Section Plans to support projects.

Underground utility surveying

Using electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar technology, coupled with Robotic Total Stations and GPS/GNSS, to map the geographical location and depth of subsurface utility infrastructure.

Depth of cover surveys

Identifying geographical location and depth of large scale, linear underground assets to ascertain sections of assets at risk to identify suitable remediation works.

Monitoring & setting out services

Monitoring surveys

Understanding building or structure movement over time near construction works using automated or manual processes and technologies.

Setting out surveys

Projecting digital designs onto land to assist construction and ensure compliance with approved designs.

Drone surveys

We use drones to cover large areas quickly, providing twice the detail in half the time of a traditional survey. Using customised ArcGIS Survey 123 applications, Geotagging records the location of assets, creating best-in-class Records of Condition.
