Acquisition, consents & compensation

At DM, we act as a specialist bridge between developers, landowners, regulators and communities. Our role is to move the project from concept to consent to completion without getting stuck in legal, planning and stakeholder deadlock.

Acting for more than 100 clients in the utilities and infrastructure sector, our 400-strong L&P team delivers these services across a range of property assets from intensive agricultural land to city centre sites. We only work for and never against developers. This is key to our values and our insistence on putting our clients first.

Our team includes specialists in a range of valuation and compensation areas from  the valuation and assessment of claims for field vegetables to compensating  mineral rights and leisure businesses including golf courses.

Recognised by the industry as experts in our sector, we regularly input into Government consultations. Ranging from supporting land rights in the delivery of the energy challenge to commenting on compulsory purchase reform, we are involved with industry change before it happens.

The challenge of providing infrastructure in the UK has never been greater due to the scale of projects that need to be delivered at pace. DM has the largest team of individuals  acting only for infrastructure clients to deliver the expertise and experience at scale to support you in your project.
