Comprehensive strategic land advisory services to offshore and onshore wind developers

DM supports the seamless progression of projects from inception through to construction and project completion.

Our expertise spans optioneering, land assembly, and statutory process support including Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) and Development Consent Orders (DCO), with representation at public inquiries and hearings. We also offer planning services, environmental assessments, and stakeholder engagement.

At DM, we have been trusted by our clients to deliver more than half the UK’s DCOs. With 28 offshore projects currently in progress, which include a mixture of offshore wind developments and offshore interconnectors, we've helped deliver over 18GW of wind energy capacity, nearly half of the UK’s 2030 target of 40GW.

We also support on TCPAs (under the Town and Country Planning Act), so DM can support your project whether it is a small-or large-scale development.

Our Valuation and Property Management teams provide key support with market and property appraisals, leases, asset management, Red Book valuations, sales, and tax valuations.

DM is often chosen to work on offshore energy projects because we offer integrated expertise across surveying, environment, planning, geomatics as well as stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion. Our proven track record, client-focused approach, and use of advanced technology make DM a trusted partner for complex infrastructure schemes.
