Land referencing, acquisition, environment, planning, and stakeholder engagement services

With three Development Consent Orders (DCOs) already consented (West Burton, Cottam and Oaklands) and a further eight instructed across the UK, DM has the experience to deliver land and environmental solutions for all solar Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) as well as smaller developments.

Our clients benefit from a single procurement process to deliver Environment & Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, Land Surveying and Land Referencing in addition to our Land & Property Services.

We manage everything from land registry searches to planning and environmental services and assessments and legal agreements to ensure the project is grid-connected efficiently. This includes Environmental Impact Assessments, on-site support for works ahead of constructions, and compensation agreements.

At DM, we are proud to offer solar clients a full end-to-end service, with our in-house broad range of technical experts who prioritise positive working relationships to deliver best-in-class results. Working as ONETEAM and using this integrated approach results in a more robust submission, considerable time and cost efficiencies and ensures safer handling of data.

We get it. We know the value of a consented project and a full book of land rights. We know how to deploy the most suitable strategy to deliver it, with the added back up of a robust CA strategy.

Site selection & grid connection experts

We prioritise finding suitable land that is close to existing grid infrastructure, which not only optimises the efficiency of energy transmission but also reduces overall project costs.
