Strengthening our Water & Waste capability with the acquisition of Geomap Ltd.
02 February 2026As part of our continued growth, we can today announce that we have acquired Geomap Ltd, a specialist geomatics and land surveying consultancy with extensive expertise in the Water and Waste sector. This acquisition enhances our capability as a leading land and environmental consultancy serving the utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Geomap Ltd is based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, and has more than 15 years’ experience delivering high-accuracy surveying and geospatial data to water and wastewater companies across the UK. The company is recognised for its ability to meet the technical precision, asset detail and regulatory standards necessary to support capital delivery and network improvement programmes.
Offering topographic, utility, and drainage surveys, as well as laser scanning, 3D modelling, and photogrammetry, Geomap generates reliable, survey-grade data. This information is essential for supporting design, construction, and asset management in complex and operationally constrained environments.
This acquisition strengthens our Geomatics capabilities at a critical time for the sector, as water companies mobilise ambitious AMP8 investment programmes focused on improving resilience, reducing environmental impact and enhancing water quality.
“I’m delighted that we’re welcoming Geomap into the Dalcour Maclaren ONETEAM. Its specialist land surveying expertise is a fantastic addition to our service offering. Geomap is already working with many of our clients and bringing it into the team means we can support those clients even better with their challenging programmes and projects. This marks an exciting new chapter in our growth, adding even more technical strength to help drive the utilities and infrastructure sector forward.”
Geomap’s specialist survey capabilities complement our established Land and access services, allowing for seamless survey delivery. Through our multi-disciplinary offering, we can secure access for survey works either by agreement or through statutory powers under the Water Industry Act, allowing survey and data capture activities to be delivered efficiently, compliantly, and entirely in-house.
“Joining Dalcour Maclaren allows us to build on the surveying expertise and standards we’re known for, while applying that capability at greater scale across major infrastructure programmes in all sectors. We’re excited to become part of a business with a strong focus on utilities and water, working on projects that make a real difference to network resilience and environmental outcomes.”
This acquisition fully supports our strategy to invest in specialist geospatial skills and expand the services we already provide for utilities and infrastructure projects. It’s an exciting time for us, and we look forward to their team joining us to be better together as ONETEAM.
