DM wins Nature Award at SSEN Sustainability Supplier Awards

We’re delighted to share that we have won in the Nature category at the Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Sustainability Supplier Awards 2025 for our work on the Strathrory wind farm project.

Launched in 2023, these awards recognise projects that significantly contribute to sustainable innovation and support SSEN’s three key pillars: society, the economy and the environment. 

A wooden trophy next to a certificate awarded to Dalcour Maclaren for being highly commended in the category of Nature at the SSEN Distribution Sustainability Supplier Awards 2025.

This Strathrory wind farm initiative involved us working alongside Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution (SHEPD) to deliver the cable rights for this onshore wind farm which, due to its location, had multiple complexities around design, landowner engagement and environmental sensitivities.

The project demonstrated our expertise and DM’s ONETEAM approach to delivery across our planning and environmental services, land and property services and geomatics to successfully secure all necessary consents for the project.
