Gaining project management skills has surprised me, as before starting my role I didn't realise how integral this was to the job. A senior colleague led an information session on the ISEP practitioner qualification. She ran us through the process, offered her advice and answered any questions we had surrounding this. This was really helpful in tailoring advice on ISEP to ourselves at DM. DM also funds ISEP qualifications which is really positive.
